GBBC Weekly Newsletter (3/3/21)

Greetings GBBC Family & Friends,

SUNDAY HIGHLIGHT FREEDOM! On Sunday, we celebrated our rich heritage with a phenomenal Black History Program, led by Pastor Sonja (Greater Kids), and Pastor Pierce (Uturn), the multiple youth and children workers, parents, and guardians. Our young people reminded us about God's faithfulness towards us. Through song, dance, speech, and videos, we were encouraged to keep pressing towards the Mark. We also learned about God's desire for His people to be FREE, as He sent Moses to intercede on behalf of the People of Israel. God led them out of bondage, across the Red Sea, into freedom...God's voice continues to cry out, "Let my people go!"

Join us on the parking lot this Sunday, as we rejoice in God's faithfulness for 10 years!

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT Leaders, join us on Saturday, March 6th at 9am via Zoom (log-in credentials at bottom of blast), for our monthly time of sharing. This monthly meeting is mandatory for ALL LEADERS, and open to anyone desiring to learn more about GBBC and leadership.

RESURRECTION SEASON We are thirty days (or so) out from Easter, and we need to prepare to reach out to those who need to hear the Gospel story. Our theme for this season is "LIVE," taken from John 14:6 - I am the way, the truth, and the life..." Jesus calls us to LIVE a life of purpose and fulfillment. Let's do our part to help others meet our Jesus! We will be sharing a series of fliers to reach and to engage our community. SPREAD THE WORD
